This story is about tourists. They all headed off to Lake Tarawera. Not so long after they peered at the Lake and took a look around the lake they saw a large waka with a high taurapa race past them. Then the waka rounded a headland and then disappeared from view.
Just after midnight earthquakes began to rattle the region causing lava bombs to shoot out of the volcano. The villages of Te Ariki and Te Waiora were buried. Scientist found the pink and white terraces by using their underwater AUVs which took pictures under the water of the lake floor.
I recommend this book to those who want to know what is going on in this story and those who love finding out new things. If you want to know more about the story then read the story it’s amazing.

First, when you begin it would be good to say what kind of text it is (fiction, non-fiction, report, sci-fi, or chapter book for example. Also, because you are a confident writer it would be good to see you use more sophisticated punctuation. Like commas for additional information. Example ...saw a large waka, with a high taupara, race past them. This supports your reader when they read your complex sentences. Keep up the good work.
