Equipment we used:
- Knife
- Bowl
- Tspoons
- Cup
- Pot
- Tray
- Whisk.
Naan Bread:
Firstly we combined the yeast, milk and sugar in a cup and gave it a quick mix. Then we had to put it in a warm place and leave it there for 5-10 minutes so that it went frothy. While we were waiting for the yeast to get frothy we chopped up some feijoas and combined them with onions, then put it on the stove in the pot.
In our groups we had to read the recipe so that we knew what to do. Then we had go both get a knife each and help each other chop the feijoas for the chutney. While me and my partner was waiting for the yeast to rise we got started on the next steps.
Our product was strongly spiced because we put in too much spice and because we had not enough of some spices.
What was challenging:
The first thing that was challenging for me and my partner was the yeast. Why, because the first yeast we made didn’t froth it just stayed like normal so we changed it and then we used the grain yeast and t worked 10 minutes later.
Feijoa Chutney:
Firstly we had to trim but not peel the feijoas and put it in a bowl. Then we had to slice, chop or dice the feijoas how we wanted it and add it to the bowl as well. After we done that and added the other ingredients we put it in a pot and stuck it on the oven and stirred it often. Until it started to boil.
